    I think your best bet would be to sign up for a course with the Chartered Insurance Institute. You can obtain a professional qualification with them which is nationally respected in the UK.They offer various courses but the one leading to attainment of the Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) is the one I have in mind.
    The course will probably take 3-4 years to complete but you will get recognition by employers as soon as you’ve started the course which could help your efforts with a job.
    I am fully trained myself but have specialised in personal injury claims.You may want to consider an area of speciality when approaching employers so they can focus your talents.
