(stands for Vetinary Pet Insurance) has extensive coverage for most pets, with exceptional coverage for cats and dogs. It is definitely a place to start as they also give lists of vets that accept the insurance.
Whichever company you choose, get the highest cover you can afford, and check whether any treatment costs have a time limit, it can make a difference if a dog needs long term treatment. Also see if they cover yearly vaccinations and offer a discount for Micro-chipped animals. Look on the web under Pet Insurance and compare as many as you can. Some are breed specific or size related. I used to use Petplan for both dog and cat but without going into detail had some problems. I now get my insurance through Homebase but not sure who the Insurance Company are.
Hope you find what you need.
visit or get a reccomendation the best one will be no excess fees, not to pay anything then claim it back from the insurance
