Well, there isn’t one.
Each policy has a definitions section – so technically, you have to look at a policy to define, for example, insured. I the insurance world, if the word isn’t specifically defined in the definitions section, then you can use the common dictionary definition.
You can request a specimen policy from an insurance company, it may even be available on their site which will give you a complete sample policy, including definitions.

Do either of you have an auto policy? You can call your carrier to get an actual COPY of the policy contract language.
All terms for any policy are defined in the definitions section.

The link above primarily deals with health insurance terms, understanding that this is not your main interest. There are many general descriptions though that may apply to such policies as EO, product liability, etc.
