Any insurance companies offer a no claims bonus even if I haven’t been the policy holder?

  • No, you have to be the policyholder to earn no-claims.

  • If your parents had had a policy with direct line, named drivers can earn their own no claims bonus if you insure with them.

I’m not sure if any other companies do this but you need to look at your parents insurance documents to see.

  • You should start by contacting your parents insurance co. = they know your details and claim free years ..

Other that this, about the only way to do it is via a specialist high street ‘insurance broker’(who would need to see your parents previous policies to show you as a named driver and current renewal to show no accidents)

It is quite possible that insurance via a broker (with 5 years NCD) will end up more expensive that the best deal you can get on the Inertnet with zero NCD.
