I got caught driving my car about six months ago without a license or valid insurance. (I own the car but only my wife is insured and licensed to drive it) I received a letter informing me of my impending court date next month a few days ago……. and then today I got caught driving the car again under the same circumstances!! I know Im an idiot and very stupid not to have taken my test but money has been very tight and……. I have no real reasons Ive just been an idiot. I’m after sensible informative answers please as my wife is currently going through a course of IVF and I am very scared that I might be going to prison at this critical time in both our lives.
I live in the UK – if anyone has specif information on my local laws and regulations that would be much appreciated – thanks
